Western Colorado University moves summer courses online

online courses

For the first time, Western Colorado University will offer more than 60 for-credit online summer courses, allowing students to safely social distance while continuing their studies.

Courses will be offered in three sessions: Maymester, May 11-29; Summer Session 1, June 1 to July 3; and Summer Session 2, July 6 to August 7.

Maymester and Summer Session 1 offerings are available online only. Summer Session 2 offerings will be held online and—if possible—in person.

Moving the courses to a distance-learning platform allows Western to nix the usual fees that go along with campus studies. Additionally, Financial Aid is available for qualifying students.

As the pandemic has interrupted many students’ internship and employment plans, these summer learning options allow them to put their break to good use, getting ahead on credits and prerequisites.

Please contact Laurel Becker at lbecker@western.edu or 970.943.7004 with any questions regarding Summer Session courses.
