Several Western Colorado University athletic teams are preparing to represent the Mountaineers against the toughest competition at the NCAA Division II level. During the next week, athletes from men’s and women’s track and field, wrestling and swimming will compete in championship events across the country. The women’s basketball team will open the NCAA Division II Tournament at the South Central Regional in Lubbock, Texas.
