Biography

What year are you in college, and when do you plan to graduate?

I’m currently in my third year of college and aiming to graduate in the spring of 2026.

How did you come across Western?

I first learned about Western through my high school recruiter, who introduced me to the admissions process. Upon visiting the campus, I was immediately captivated by its atmosphere and offerings. The small class sizes and the specific degree path I was seeking made Western the perfect choice for me.

What have been some highlights of your time at Western?

Among the many fond memories I’ve made at Western, Rail Jam and SpringFest stand out the most. These events have provided countless opportunities for me to gather with friends and create lasting memories.

What excites you most about your major?

I’m particularly drawn to computer science because it allows me to delve deeper into the mathematical and scientific aspects of computers. Moreover, the hands-on coding experience and the accessibility of professors for one-on-one questions are incredibly exciting aspects of my major.

What do you love most about the Gunnison Valley?

Living in the Gunnison Valley offers a unique sense of community that is both welcoming and supportive. I’ve always felt a strong sense of belonging here. Additionally, I adore the abundance of recreational activities such as climbing, hiking, and fishing that the Valley provides.
