Biography
What year in school are you and when do you plan to graduate?
I am currently in my first year of college and plan to graduate in the fall of 2026.
How did you discover Western?
I discovered Western through my high school advisor and some friends who thought it would be a good fit for me. I am constantly in awe of the outdoors, love the small school feel, and wanted to go somewhere magical.
What are some of the highlights of your time at Western?
Some of my favorite highlights so far have been the rail jam, which was an extremely fun night watching skiers and snowboarders do tricks, and going up to the football field with friends to watch the sunset.
What most excites you about your major?
I am a Sociology major with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. What excites me most about my major is being able to examine the Criminal Justice System through a sociological lens.
What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?
My favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley is the natural beauty that surrounds us. I love everything from the mountains to the river, Blue Mesa, and the beautiful town.
