Biography
Originally from Switzerland, Megan West moved to the United States to complete her education. She graduated from the University of Denver in 2011, after which she moved to the Gunnison Valley, where she has lived ever since.
Megan was fortunate to find her way to the Gunnison Arts Center, where she worked for five wonderful years as the Program Director. From there, she worked as the Operations Director for the Crested Butte Musical Festival, further expanding her experience in the non-profit sector. Megan is now proud to say she is a member of the Western community as the Director of Alumni Relations.
These past eleven years in the Valley have taught Megan a lot about her true passions, one of which is bringing people together. She is proud to offer opportunities for Western Alumni to reconnect with their alma mater, find new ways to engage with the University and its students, and share their knowledge and experience with the next generation of alumni.
Megan lives in Gunnison with her husband, Tyler, and daughter, Avery.
