Biography
Luke Danielson is a lawyer, researcher and educator who has directed substantial research programs in the fields of sustainable development and mining and minerals policy for the past three decades. He teaches courses at Western Colorado University in Global Sustainability, Sustainable Development, Conflict and Sustainability in the West and more. He is also the president of the Sustainable Development Strategies Group (SDSG), which is a collaborative group of researchers, consultants and other experts whose goal is to demonstrate the effectiveness of sustainable development concepts in solving real, practical problems at the local, regional, national and international levels. Professor Danielson is an adjunct professor at universities around the world, has worked with the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation, the International Development Research Centre, the United Nations, and governments and local communities in Mongolia, Nigeria, Panama, Chile, Central Asia, Uganda, Mozambique, Guinea, Ecuador, Sierra Leone, Canada and the United States.
