Karen Ganss

Biography

Karen is a 2009 Western alumna originally from the San Luis Valley (Monte Vista) who now lives in Palisade, Colorado. After completing her bachelor’s degree in business administration Karen worked as a Western Admissions Counselor for three years. She then attended graduate school at Oregon State University in College Student Services Administration, completing a thesis focused on the experiences of college students from rural and small towns. Karen currently supports the Rady School at Western as Assistant Director of Partnership Programs with the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her growing family, trail running, snowboarding, traveling, and exploring new food/drink.
