Biography
Joanie Todd and husband, Rich, are both graduates of Western. Joanie graduated in 1985 with majors in Elementary Education and Physical Education. She is a retired teacher from the Aurora Public Schools. Joanie and Rich reside in Centennial, Colo. She says, “Getting a higher education in today’s society is more important than ever. Western offers a great education on a beautiful campus for a very affordable price. It is important that Western’s donors continue to support what they are doing in education so the next generation can have the opportunity to get a college degree. Joining Western’s Foundation Board was an honor. I was a first generation college graduate. Western gave me the opportunity to get two college degrees which changed my life. I want to help give back and make sure that other young people of today have that same opportunity that I was given.”
