Biography
I am originally from Arkansas and love family, travel, and outdoor adventure. I discovered my love for Colorado when I was in high school. Growing up in Arkansas, l already loved all things outdoors, but little did I know that a quick ski trip to Colorado in my teens would foster a lifelong love of the sport and the beautiful state of Colorado. Fast forward a few years (or decades 😊), as an adult my family and I have had the privilege of exploring much of the state. The Gunnison Valley holds special meaning as it became a family favorite destination for both winter and summer trips that have provided memories to last a lifetime. Three years ago, a job transfer gave us the opportunity to become residents. I now serve as Campus Visit Coordinator at Western where I get to share this amazing institution and the Gunnison Valley with all of our visitors. My hope is that they get just a glimpse of what makes this place so special!
Fun Facts:
1- I am a foodie! Pizza, BBQ, and Pasta are at the top of my list chased closely by a plate of ultimate nachos.
2- My favorite season is football season! College gamedays are the best! My Arkansas roots run deep, so on gameday I will be calling those Hogs!
