Hayden Hooker

Hayden grew up in rural-remote southeastern Montana, a stone’s throw from the Crow Reservation. Much to his parents chagrin, he attended University of Montana—Missoula—and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy in 2014. Go Griz! After a liberating four-year hiatus from academia, Hayden enrolled in a graduate program through Montana State University—Bozeman—designed to prepare exceptional teachers for education positions in rural locations. Go Cats Go!) Hayden earned his Master of Arts in Teaching in 2019 and proceeded to teach high school English Language Arts in his hometown for 4 wonderful, fulfilling years before making the move to Gunnison in the fall of 2024. Hayden is a “lifelong learner” who enjoys music, movies, and media as much as snowboarding, rodeoing, or any activity that stretches his imagination and soothes the arduity of existence. He likes to laugh, think, and do.
