Biography

Dan is a recovering raft guide who can’t seem to fully kick the habit. He graduated from Baylor University with a degree in speech communication and embarked on a corporate career that took him to Chicago, New York and Washington D.C. After living in the big city for far too long, he moved to Buena Vista, CO where he now lives with his wife, Kellee, and their French bulldog, Stitch. Dan is a graduate of the first cohort of the OIMBA program at Western and now teaches business and management full time at Colorado Mountain College in Salida where he is also implementing his capstone project to create an undergraduate program in Outdoor Industry Management. He is proud to rejoin the MBA program as a faculty advisor assisting students with the creation, strategy and implementation of their capstone projects. In his free time, you can find Dan on the river fly fishing, rafting or just relaxing.
