Biography

A Western graduate (B.A., ’02), Craig had the pleasure of experiencing college life as an undeclared student, followed by majors in English and Recreation & Outdoor Education, ultimately landing on Psychology. Craig was an active student leader and the mentorship he received from staff and faculty while at Western led him to pursue a career in higher education. Earning his M.S. from Colorado State University and Ed.S. from Florida State University, Craig returned to Gunnison in 2018 after tenures at Loyola University New Orleans and Florida State University. Since returning to Western, Craig has served as Director of Career Services and Director of Alumni Relations before joining the Residence Life team. When he’s not on his favorite college campus, Craig loves to snowshoe, volunteer with local boards and nonprofit organizations, and undertake minor home and vehicle projects after learning how to do them on YouTube.
