Biography

What year in school are you and when do you plan to graduate?

I am going into my sophomore year at Western and plan to graduate by 2027.

How did you discover Western?

Western was my top pick for universities because I love the small class sizes and the supportive environment created by the students and staff.

What are some of the highlights of your time at Western?

Some of the highlights include making connections with my peers and professors and starting my journey in archaeology through engaging and hands-on classes.

What most excites you about your major?

I am a double major in Geo-Archaeology and Anthropology. I am excited to make connections and embark on my archaeological journey through the opportunities Western provides.

What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?

The Gunnison Valley feels like home. My favorite place is the trails behind the school, where I hike to a spot that offers a view of almost all of Gunnison. It’s a great place to relax or read. I also love having breakfast at the W Cafe in town; it’s one of my favorite places to eat!
