The Paul M. Rady School of Computer Science and Engineering represents an innovative partnership between Western and the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science.
The new 75,000-square-foot building provides versatile teaching and lab spaces including advanced instrumentation rooms, faculty offices and two large theater-style classrooms. This beautiful, state-of-the-art facility will house our computer science, engineering and mathematics programs that combine academic rigor and hands-on application to build the state’s technically skilled workforce. The partnership will allow students to earn a University of Colorado Boulder engineering degree, while enjoying the personal attention, small class sizes and spectacular surroundings of Western Colorado University.

Through a pioneering collaboration between Western and the University of Colorado Boulder College of Engineering and Applied Science, students will be able to obtain degrees in Computer Science, including Computer Science with an emphasis in Software Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering as graduates of the University of Colorado Boulder.
