Mail Center

Overview

The Mail Center handles all shipping for Western Colorado University students, faculty and staff. Located in the University Center, our staff can handle all mailing needs.

  • Mail is delivered to the Post Office at 1:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Addressing Information

Mail delivery by U.S. Postal Mail, UPS, FedEx and other contract deliverers should be addressed as follows:

  • Your Name
    Western Colorado University
    C.P.O. # (Campus Post Office Box number for students; department name for faculty and staff)
    1 Western Way
    Gunnison, CO 81231

For Inter-Campus mail delivery:

  • Student mail must contain name and box number.
  • Faculty or administration mail must contain name and department.

Hours of Operation

Access to mailboxes:
Monday-Friday 7:15 a.m.-9 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday 10 a.m.-9 p.m.

Access to window:
Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday: Closed

Students can receive mail at their campus address two weeks before the beginning of the fall semester and one week before the beginning of the spring semester.
