Our mission at Information Technology Services is to partner with the Western Colorado University community to evaluate, implement and manage technology resources to enrich the learning and life experience of our students, augment academics and teaching, facilitate business operations, enhance the campus environment, and contribute to the overall mission of the University.
Information Technology Services (IT Services, ITS or just plain IT) is responsible for all computing, networking, internet, audio/visual and telecommunications services on campus. The Western campus has over 120 technology equipped classrooms and more than 20 academic computer labs, including specialized engineering, petroleum geology, graphic design, photography, music and film spaces.
