Check In & Out

Checking in and out can be performed and coordinated at any location on campus for the convenience of the guests and will be planned during the reservation process.

Parking

Due to the fact that Western does not charge for parking, parking is on a first come first serve basis. There are parking lots surrounding the majority of campus buildings and all of the lodging facilities located on campus with more than ample space for our visitors.

Room Policies:

Damage

Damage to the property, including but not limited to rooms, fixtures, furnishings or linens, will result in an additional charge of fair replacement value or necessary cleaning.

Pets

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on Western’s campus, of course with the exception of service animals.

Smoking & Alcohol

Colorado State Law prohibits smoking in all of Westerns buildings, this includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes and marijuana in any form. Western is also compliant with federal government policies and allows consumption of alcohol beverages by guests that are 21 years of age and older and in possession of a valid driver’s license or passport.

Campus Security

The mission of Western Campus Security Services is to help provide a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors. This is accomplished through a community friendly approach, visibility of security personnel, 24-hour accessibility, regular patrols and cooperation with all local emergency agencies.

Lost & Found

Western Colorado University will make a reasonable effort to contact guests after departure if they have left any belongings on the premises. We will ship any items back at owners expense. In addition, if we are unable to reach the guest(s), items will be placed in University Center Lost & Found and donated or discarded after 60 days.
