Welcome to Paul Wright Gymnasium
Located at the northern end of campus, Paul Wright Gymnasium sits at 7,723 feet above sea level, making it the highest collegiate gym in the world. In addition to its impressive elevation, Paul Wright Gymnasium is also home to Western’s Aquatics Center which includes an indoor pool and hot tub. The Gym also includes a wrestling room, locker rooms, meeting spaces and two multipurpose gyms suitable for basketball, track and field, volleyball and everything in between.
Athletic Fields & Courts
Western sports several multifaceted fields located around our spacious campus, including our Mountaineer Bowl complete with a regulation football field and a 400 meter rubberized track. Our numerous practice fields such as our Rugby field and indoor courts are more than accommodating for our guest athletes of all ages and disciplines.
