Biography

I came to Western as an undeclared first time freshman, excited to immerse myself in a mountain community. In that first semester I started working in the Registration and Advising Services Office as a work study student. I owe a lot of my academic success to the advisors still in this office. This experience helped me discover my passion for coaching and advising. One of the things I love most about Western is how it empowers students to build things they care about. I was able to help rebuild Western’s Men’s Lacrosse Program. I served as Team President for three years and have now transitioned to the role of Head Coach. I also coach for the local youth program and now know that I want to coach for the rest of my life. Western is a place where you can find support to grow as well as the freedom to pursue your passions. It is a place where I have done just that. As the Exploratory Program Coordinator I provide students resources and coaching as they discover the right major for them. I also work to provide students academic support including time management skills, test taking tactics, organizational strategies, and so much more.
