Biography

Mikay has been a member of the Academic Resource Center since 2019. She is the international student coordinator, study away coordinator (including national student exchange and study abroad) and an academic adviser for undeclared students. She is a proud graduate of the University of Oklahoma, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in global studies through her alma mater. She has traveled extensively, both domestically and internationally. This includes study abroad experiences in Costa Rica and Chile, which inspired her to transition into a career in international education at the university level. She previously taught Spanish and French language at the middle and high school level in Loveland, Colorado and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
