My creative writing and literary scholarship operate at the intersection of literature, mathematics and science. For example, I often find that when mathematical concepts are rendered in poetic language or narrative form, their truth value and exactitude are complicated and made new. My fiction and poetry are published in journals such as DIAGRAM, Entropy, La Vague and Black Warrior Review, and my essays, reviews and scholarly writing can be found in Annulet, Full Stop and The Explicator. Additionally, I write a column for Tarpaulin Sky Magazine called “Figuring” that puzzles over and gives shape to art and environments that integrate or concern mathematics and science. In 2021, I completed my Ph.D. in English & Literary Arts: Creative Writing at the University of Denver where I served as Prose Editor for Denver Quarterly.
