Biography

Eric Smith is a Young Adult author living in Philadelphia. His books include the IndieBound bestseller The Geek’s Guide to Dating (Quirk), the YA fantasy duology Inked (Bloomsbury), the contemporary-fantasy The Girl and the Grove (Flux), and his latest novel, Don’t Read the Comments (Inkyard / HarperCollins). His upcoming books due out in 2021 include You Can Go Your Own Way (Inkyard / HarperCollins) and the co-edited anthology Battle of the Bands (Candlewick), put together with award-winning author Lauren Gibaldi. In his life as a literary agent, he’s worked on New York Times bestselling and award-winning titles. When he’s not busy fussing over books, he can be found teaching at Arcadia University and playing way too many video games.
