Biography

Chrissy is a Colorado native who grew up in Fort Collins, CO. In 2013, she moved to Gunnison to attend Western Colorado University to achieve a geology degree. While in Gunnison, she explored, adventured, and enjoyed the beauty of the area and fell in love with the valley. She ultimately wanted to extend her educational experience, so she attended Kansas State University and received her master’s degree in 2020. Her love for Gunnison drew her back to the valley after graduating from K-State. Teaching has always been a passion of hers and she is excited to educate students about the principles and concepts of geology.
