How did you discover Western?
I discovered Western when I was looking for a school that had small class sizes, a swim team and easy access to the outdoors. I wanted to go to a school that was not too big where I was able to connect with my professors and to get one on one help if needed. I also wanted to swim at a collegiate level, as well as being able to go outside whenever possible. Western was one of the schools that offered all these things. When I came for a visit, I instantly fell in love with the campus and knew right away that I wanted to come here.
What are some of the highlights of your time at Western?
One of the biggest highlights of being here at Western is swimming on the swim team. My teammates are my family, and it is awesome to get to know everyone on a personal level. Another highlight is being able to go sled down green monster in the winter, it is so much fun to fly down the hill with my friends. Studying in a quiet room in the library is always a highlight. I get to spread out and concentrate on my homework or I can study or work on projects with my friends.
