What most excites you about your field?

What most excites me in sustainability today are the local innovations and overall trend away from apocalyptic thinking. People today seem to care about their local environments and communities, and are working to ensure they protect them. I notice ecoconsciousness in people more and more each year.

What is your favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley?

My favorite thing about the Gunnison Valley is access to public lands. I really have never found another place like it.
