Polynesian Chant and Dance

Mission Statement

The Polynesian Dance & Chant Club looks to share and educate ourselves, fellow student peers, and the community cultural Pacific Islander and Polynesian dances through dance lessons and meetings. By learning the cultural values and meanings of various dances, we stand to build an inclusive environment and establish connections through movement and expression. It is important to stand for diversity by assisting students in academic, cultural, and personal development and to promote cultural literacy through physical means of dancing and performance.
