COSI Scholarship Application

  • The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) aims to increase Colorado students' college completion, decrease their student debt and prepare them for successful careers.

    To apply, students need to complete the application form and upload an essay. In the essay, students should address why they chose Western, what plans/goals they have for the future and what this scholarship would mean to them. Students must complete the FAFSA and their Expected Family Contribution (EFC) must be below 16,640 for 2023-24 to be eligible.

    COSI application review will begin March 1. COSI will be awarded on a first come first serve basis until funds are exhausted for the academic year.
