Readmission
Students who leave Western Colorado University before earning their degree and wish to return (after a semester or more) must fill out a readmission application. This application is for students who have previously been enrolled in:
- An Undergraduate degree program and are applying for readmission to complete their undergraduate degree
- The Adult Degree Completion (ADC) program and are applying for readmission to ADC
-
A Graduate degree program and are applying for readmission to complete their graduate degree
For students who are applying to Western for the first time, please submit a new student application.
Upon readmission, a student will receive the same academic standing under which they left. For example, a student who left Western in good standing will be readmitted in good standing and a student who left on academic probation will be readmitted on academic probation.
Students who have attended other institutions during their absence from Western must request official transcripts be sent to Western Colorado University by all colleges or universities attended. For Undergraduate or ADC, please visit our transfer evaluation page for more information about transfer credit requirements.
For questions about readmission to an Undergraduate or ADC program, please contact Sarah Sharsmith in Registration and Advising Services at ssharsmith@western.edu or 970.943.7005.
