Western does not transfer grades from other institutions. Your grade point average will be calculated based solely on your performance in courses taken at Western.
Transferring from Colorado Schools
Western participates in Colorado’s Pathways Program. For students transferring from another Colorado institution, gtPathways guarantees the transfer of statewide approved transfer courses and offer specific benefits for those completing an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree. For more info about the gtPathways Program, visit highered.colorado.gov.
Western has also developed transfer guides, available on request, which can help guide course selection at Colorado community colleges.
Credit for Military Service
Military service credit is evaluated when official copies of transcripts for military schools are received. Army, Navy and Marine personnel submit a Joint Service Transcript (JST). Air Force personnel submit a Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) Transcript. Courses are evaluated according to the American Council on Education (ACE) Guidelines. A maximum of 25 semester hours of credit is counted toward a baccalaureate degree.
