Student Leadership Positions

Becoming a student leader and developing important leadership skills is an important part of the college experience!Student Staff

Residence Life offers many fun, rewarding and paid leadership opportunities for WSCU students.  Many campus leaders, such as 2007-2008 Student Body President Alex Stigall, began by becoming greatly involved in their residence hall community.  Additionally, many graduates indicate that their residence life leadership experiences prepared them for success in their careers and communities. 

Becoming a Resident Student Association representative or serving on a living/learning community (LLC) programming board is an excellent way to “test the waters” and get to know the other student leaders within your community.

Becoming a Resident Advisor after living on campus for one year is another excellent way of taking the reins of leadership at WSCU and making the most of your college experience.  We encourage YOU to consider serving as a student leader within your residence hall or apartment community.  Your college career will be richer and more rewarding for it!

If you would like more information about residence life student leadership opportunities, the best source would be the student leaders within your own community.  Your Assistant Director or Resident Director will be able to answer questions about opportunities for the spring semester.
