Transfer & Non-Traditional Student Orientation: August 23

If you are a transfer student with 24 or more credits, we encourage you to attend our Transfer & Non-Traditional Student Orientation, which is designed to meet your specific needs. Parent & Family Orientation Registration: August 21 & 22

Heading off to college isn't a big deal for students only...  it's a transition for parents and families as well. Orientation Fees & Refund Policy

New Student Orientation Fee

A $220 program fee covers the cost of New Student Orientation (includes programming, meals, and materials) in addition to Week of Welcome (WOW), August 26 - August 31, 2013! Orientation is required for first time freshman and transfer students with 23 or less credits. You DON'T need to sign up for Orientation; you are automatically signed up when you register for classes.

Transfer & Non-Traditional Student Orientation-August 23
We offer an optional Transfer & Non-Traditional Student Orientation that meets your specific needs. This program is encouraged, but not required and there is no cost to attend. We also invite you to arrive early and have lunch with other transfer & non-traditional students for lunch ($15/person). Learn more and sign up here....

Family and Guest Fees

We’re so glad your student is coming to Western State Colorado University! We feel confident that he or she is in the best of hands, and we’re excited to watch the class of 2017 explore, be challenged, and grow during the next four years. We’re sure you are, too! We invite you to join us for this transition by attending Parent & Family Orientation on August 21 & 22.

Refund Policy

Requests for refunds for Orientation must be received by August 16. Refunds will be credited to the students account. To request a refund, please contact Sara Phillips at (970) 943-2176/ sphillips@western.edu or the Cashier's Office directly at (970) 943-3003.
