Overview

Western State Colorado University is situated on 130 landscaped acres with 251 adjoining undeveloped acres within the Gunnison Valley - 3000 square miles of natural diversity. This prime location puts conference guests within reach of a variety of cultural and recreational experiences. There's nothing about WSCU that could be considered 'average.' Our campus isn't limited by artificial boundaries. Our environment is expansive and varied. At WSCU there's a feeling of warmth and friendliness like nowhere else. It's an escape to a different kind of lifestyle.

WSCU Conference Services welcomes conferences both big and small. The mission of Conference Services is to assist in furthering the goals of the University as they relate to education, research, and community service. From June through early August, we specialize in renting University facilities for conference and camp use. We aspire to efficiently schedule the use of our facilities by making them available as a quality experience. Ultimately, we strive to provide the utmost quality and customer service to our guests.

 

We work with our guests to provide your one-stop shop for all of your conference needs, from booking rooms to arranging meal times to checking your conference attendees into their housing.  Conference Services is able to provide the following services.  More in-depth information about our offerings is available by clicking on the links to the left.

 

Housing

All conference participants are housed in non-air-conditioned residence halls.  We provide a variety of housing styles including traditional residence hall rooms, suite style housing with a shared bathroom, and apartment style housing.  Amenities provided include a pillow and top sheet.  Additional linen packages are available for extra cost.  

Dining

Meals are served buffet style in our dining hall housed in the University Center.

Catering

We are able to offer catering services to your group.  All on-campus catering goes through Sodexo Campus Services, who can provide a variety of high-quality options.

Facilities

Facilities across campus are available for use.  Cost and availability varies.
