Residential Computing

Rooms in the Chipeta, Escalante and Mears Complexes are wired for internet access from your personal computer. There are two connections in each room. Students bringing a personal computer that reside in these halls and wish to access the internet form their room need an Ethernet card and an RJ45 cable to gain accessibility. These items are available at the bookstore located in the College Union. This Equipment can also be purchased at your local computer store.
For Ute, Shavano, Hermosa, Teocalli, Alpine and Ophir Halls
For those students residing in Ute Hall and Shavano Complex, internet service will be provided by a wireless connection. Students wishing to gain access through Western's system will need a wireless Ethernet card.
