Sept. 14, 2009 -- Treasured objects and artifacts held by the Western State College of Colorado Leslie J. Savage Library will be preserved for future generations with help from the IMLS Connecting to Collections Bookshelf, a core set of conservation books and online resources donated by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS).
Sept. 1, 2009 -- The Office for Resource Efficiency (ORE) together with Western State College of Colorado (WSC) is once again offering the course, High Performance Building in Cold Climates, starting Sept. 9.
Aug. 28, 2009 -- KWSB (91.1 FM), the Western State College student radio station, is airing English professor Bill King’s radio series on the lyrical poetry of Bob Dylan. The show can be heard on Sundays and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. starting Aug. 30.
Campus Life 101: WSC Offers Various Activities to Help Students Settle in to the First Week of School
Aug. 24, 2009 -- With boxes of ramen noodles, TVs, microwaves and snowboards in tow, Western State College students began moving into the residence halls on Friday, Aug. 21. WSC staff and faculty, Mountaineer basketball players and the Rotary Club all pitched in to help the 840 students move into their new digs.
Western State College will soon be back in full swing with the start of fall semester on Aug. 24.
Aug. 12, 2009 -- Western State College of Colorado (WSC) has hired Teddi A. Joyce as the vice president for enrollment management. She will start on Sept. 1.
Aug. 4, 2009 -- Duane Vandenbusche, who spent 36 seasons in a coaching capacity for the Western State cross country and track and field teams, will be a part of the 15th induction class into the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
