Mary Hudson

Mary joined the faculty at Western in 2004.  She holds undergraduate degrees from Western and the University of Minnesota   as well as an MHA (Hospital Administration) from the University of Minnesota.    Mary is a Colorado licensed CPA and teaches accounting and finance for the Department.  She also coordinates the IRS sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at Western.  This program provides a valuable community service and excellent real-world tax preparation experience for Western students.

Prior to teaching at Western, Mary worked as a health care executive and consultant for several major health care systems nation-wide.  Her health-care career spanned 25 years and her areas of consulting expertise include strategic and financial planning, physician group management and business process improvement.
