Campus Life:	There are over 50 clubs and organizations active on campus including the Multicultural Center. We also have an award winning radio station (listen online)! Western has the nation's only college based Mountain Rescue team. Western students travel all over the world through Study Abroad. They can also participate in National Student Exchange.
On-Campus Housing:	Freshman are required to live on campus. 40% of all students live on campus.

Only 10 minutes from campus 85% of the land in Gunnison County is owned by US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management and State Parks - offering hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing, hunting and more. Hartman Rocks is only 5 minutes from campus- offering hundreds of miles of mountain biking and hiking trails and great climbing.
