Scholarships for Incoming Resident Transfer Students

This page contains information on scholarship programs available to incoming transfer students who are Colorado Residents.

Western State College of Colorado offers a variety of scholarships for new transfer students. Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit, achievements, involvement and leadership. Transfer scholarships require the New Student Scholarship Application - please see scholarship descriptions below for specific guidelines.  A personal essay and two letters of recommendation are also required for all transfer scholarships.

The deadline for scholarship applications for transfer students is July 15, 2010. Selection is competitive and the number of scholarships available is limited. Some talent-based awards are available in extracurricular activities such as music, art or athletics.
