Emergency Notification System
Beginning with the 2010 Fall semester, Western State will be transitioning to Rave Mobile Safety as our primary emergency notification system. This system has had tremendous success across the country. We are excited to have it implemented on our campus.
Once a student registers for classes, they will receive an email at their Western State email address asking them to sign-up with Rave Mobile Safety. All students MUST sign-up in order to receive emergency alerts from WSC. Students will continue to receive messages requesting that they sign-up until they have done so.
WSC will conduct tests of our Rave emergency notification system periodically throughout the semester to ensure the system is working properly.
Please ensure that you check your WSC email on a regular basis for any updates or news about the Rave Mobile Safety system.
How it Works
WSC and Rave Mobile Safety will have all participating WSC faculty, staff, and students' cell phone numbers and email addresses on file. If there is an emergency on campus or in the community that faculty, staff, or students need to be aware of, a mass text message and email will be sent out.

WSC will only be using the Alert broadcast messaging services.
Please do not register with Rave Mobile Safety until you receive the email via your WSC email
