Faculty and Administrator Insurance and Flex Plans

Western State Colorado University provides benefit plans to eligible Faculty and Administrators as a member of the CHEIBA Trust.

Open enrollment is the month of November, for changes to be effective January 1st.  Certain changes in life circumstances allow employees to make changes to their coverage elections during the plan year (see page 13 of the Benefits Booklet, linked below).

Information about the current CHEIBA health, dental, life, flexible benefits, and disability plans are available in the Benefits Booklet, linked here in PDF format.

If you need a form that you don't see on this page, give us a call, we'll be happy to help!

To reach Ellen Tawson, CHEIBA's PAL (Participant Advocate Link), call 1-800-943-0650; fax 303-221-8180 or email pal_gbi@ajg.com. Our PAL can assist you with benefits questions, with billing problems, reimbursement problems, trouble seeing a specialist, if you think you have a claim or service denied in error, or have disability insurance or life insurance problems. Please have your ID card or SSN available and relevant information about your problem when you communicate with our PAL.
