Our Mission
Our faculty and staff embody the strength of our college’s commitment to prepare students for life-long learning with a solid liberal arts foundation. The WSC Human Resources office supports the college mission by providing the campus community with professional consulting, support and service in all employment related matters.
Our Operating Values
Communication: We strive to listen first, then to be clear, practical, logical and concise in our communication. We believe pro-active communication fosters trust and collegial working relationships.
Employee Relations: We work to be a first choice resource for employee work-life issues. We believe in two way communication to solve workplace problems fairly, early on and at the lowest level practical in the institutional structure. We support a culture that celebrates employee success.
Programs and Services: We aim to provide quality services and programs in the most effective form, with easily accessible information to both anticipate and meet the needs of our employees.
Consulting: We study to stay well informed on topics affecting employees and the administration of human resources, in order to provide innovative ideas for services, policies and strategies.
