Community-based solutions for a revitalized, resilient, and sustainable future for the Gunnison Valley and beyond
The Institute for Applied Sustainability offers a holistic suite of courses that develop the practical skills and knowledge needed to create more sustainable and economically resilient communities, and provide training for green jobs. Courses cover topics including energy, building, food, and conceptual approaches to sustainability. All courses are open and applicable to students of all disciplines and community members. Courses may be taken for continuing education units (CEUs, which are included on academic transcripts); select courses may also be taken for academic credit. Courses can be taken individually or combined for a certificate of completion; certification requires 5 CEUs.
