About Brittney

  • Major: Organization Communications
  • Intern at Finca Bellavista

Brittney’s recommendations for Western State College students that are interested in the CORE Program with Finca Bellavista:

Finca Bellavista is a place that is unmatched by its beauty and pristine environment. The experiences that the Finca is able to supply are enriched by its  biodiversity and its ecologically friendly foundation.  The location of the Finca opens up so much opportunity for exploration; it is at the base of a rainforest mountain on the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and is bordered to the north by Rio Piedras Blancas and to the south by Rio Bellavista. The opportunity to discover and explore the region is endless with the location. The Finca has access to hiking; surf beaches, fishing, diving, and so much more.

The ability to immerse students in an environment so diverse in nature and the ability to incorporate education is rare. Having the Finca as a location for students CORE is able to enhance their education in an engaging way that can inspire and create development of character.

Comments:
From my own experience of the spending time at Finca Bellavista, I believe the location and access that it offers for education is endless and rare. The ability to access a location that is so extraordinary for education purpose is hard to come by.
